The following are mostly drawn from the Other replies from the original; it sort of looks like we have some kind of kick against rap culture, but I read the actual replies and nearly everybody is talking about suburban whites trying to talk ghetto. So take it that way. I didn't carry over any replies from the original poll; wanted to see how these would do. My sense? "My bad" is going to win.

My pet peeves are "ramp up" and "ratchet up". Actually, if I listed all my linguistic pet peeves, you'd all go into catatonia. So I'll be quiet. I'll be good.
