DId Anyone Just See Kitty Kelly on Today (Tuesday)

Matt Lauer was again being an asshole and interrupting her and she again held her own graciously. After accusing her of only writing negative things about Bush in the book, he said that they would see her there again tomorrow and she said "I think I'm going in the Witness Protection Program" (and then laughed).

During the interview he kept bringing out negative quotes from the book and then some response NBC had gotten that claims it's all a lie. She kept saying that everything they were denying was a matter of public record. He kept ignoring that fact.

I REALLY want this book now.

I'm not in to the whole gossip thing and all, but I am getting this book to help push sales.

5. Well, basically, it was pretty much the same as yesterday

Matt had a 20 page list of quotes from the book that the publisher had sent him. He made a big deal about how the entire book was negative about Bush, and how she didn't have one good thing to say about him. She made the point that she had both good and bad in the book, and he was basing his comment on just what he had read (which was just what he had in his hand, the 20 pages).

He started by asking her if she saw the interview he had yesterday with Sharon Bush where she said that she had never said that she had seen Bush using drugs. Kitty laughed, and said that she had three corroborative witnesses to the fact that she DID say it, which is good enough for a court of law, and good enough for the dozens of lawyers that vetted the book for her.

Someone else will have to take it from here if they watched... gotta do a little work at the moment... :)
