| So now someone has delivered a box of Krispy Kremes to my office |
|
Is this some kind of recruiting program? We didn't order them... we didn't pay for them... they just brought in a box, gratis. I know sales have been down, but geez... this seems really desperate!
So I figured what the heck... it was glazed, one of the few kinds of donuts I find palatable, so I tried one. It was good, but I don't know what all the fuss is about.
So NO, you did not gain another slave addicted to your sugary poison, you nefarious donut makers! HA HA!

If not, it was just another donut. One must experience a HOT Krispy Kreme for full effect.

I forgot about the hotness factor. But I'm not eating another one, so I guess I'll never know.
They're probably all gone by now anyway... the people I work with eat frighteningly fast!

eating one at a meeting yesterday. I was so proud of myself.

| 3. That's because you didn't have one hot off the line. |
|
If you ever get the chance, when you're driving by one with the "HOT DOUGHNUTS NOW" sign lit, I double dog dare you to eat one and come back with the same report.
If you can't get one hot & fresh, try another variety. I can highly recommend the cream-filled glazed, the raspberry-filled glazed, and the custard-filled chocolate frosted.
Oh and the devil's food ones are something else too.

Fight it! You must resist!
I'm not really fond of donuts, so I probably won't. I only ate that one because I was late leaving and didn't eat breakfast.

| 10. I work very hard to resist them. |
|
But I don't always succeed. I think that a regular glazed one is only 120 calories, so having one or two is definitely not a diet-buster like a muffin or something like that.
What's really unfortunate is that Krispy Kreme gives ALL their political donations to Repukes. Or at least they did the last election cycle. That right there is probably the best antidote.

|
What's funny is that our health insurance provider brings them to our office by the metric ton. BTW, a full listing of Krispy Kreme products are here: http://www.nutritiondata.com/foods-030000000000000000000.html

and 13g fat is far less than most tasty sweet treats. On edit: Woohoo! Only 200, and 12g total fat! http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts-001-02s055t.html

When you start talking about a couple of them (like the previous post) you've got 440 and 26g, plus that coffee that you know you'll want to wash it down with... Each doughnut is about the same as a slice of pizza...

Them too?
Dunkin's is popular around Boston. THOSE have to be Democratic doughnuts. Right?

Don't eat any more! One probably won't hurt, but if you eat any more you'll soon be dealing them to support your habit.
