| Anybody here have advice on buying videogames online? |
|
I'm really a half-assed videogamer. I almost never use my PS2 and don't own anything I play. I just occasionally rent something which peaks my interest when I'm bored. Or play at friends houses when we're bored.
But I assume there are people here who are real enthusiasts and know the best deals and best advice on
* The best place to buy a videogame online in general, IE reliability.
* And/or the best deal both for cost/discount on games/merchandise AND on shipping costs
* And/or where I can get the fastest shipping
The game I'm interested in isn't available for rent at blockbuster for some stupid reason, but I pretty much know that I'm going to like it, which is why I'm buying it before playing.

Good prices and great selection. I've purchased a lot of used games from them, too. Excellent value and every one worked great.

I second that one. They're my #1 place online for buying games.

Also gamestop is not bad either. I buy used games all the time because you can find some very good deals. As a matter of fact I just bought NCAA Football 2004 for $9.99 (The updates in NCAA 2005 did not warrant the $50). I only buy games brand new when it's something I really want as in the case of GTA: San Andreas and Gran Turismo 4 when they come out.
