analyze my weird dream/nightmare
|
here's what I dreamed last night..
There were about 500 people in a huge hall and a 'Bush Brother' who didn't appear to be any of them in particular pulled out an uzi and started mowing everyone down. I was pissed off because I couldn't get to him and no one was trying to jump him to get him to stop. So I fell to the ground and played dead.
Then I heard he was near me and all of a sudden he fell down - someone had shot the hell out of him - but he fell half on me and his arms were jerking around as he was dying. Everyone was relieved it was over after he finally died and that was the end of the dream/nightmare
Now, I very rarely remember what I dream at night but this one stuck for some reason.
what the hell was that about? I must admit I took vicodin before I went to sleep because I had therapy on my knee yesterday but this one was odd.
disclaimer: I am in no way advocating violence from or against anyone here... just so the feds don't decide to come after me because the villain was somehow connected to the BFEE. I can't even bring myself to kill a spider!

I dreamed I was up in the mountains (I live in CO), and I was living in some sort of military camp. We were drilling and marching and living in tents and stuff. Now, I'm 44 years old, so it's not a fear of the draft. Maybe just fear of the ultimate outcome of 4 more years of TERRA TERRA TERRA.

2. Your mind was previewing the November election

The "Bush Brother" was RoveCorp trying to steal it again. The people doing nothing to stop it were the 50% of murkins who never bother to vote. The person who "shot the hell out of him" represented the Kerry-Edwards team and all their supporters (figuratively of course). The guy "jerking around as he was dying" was bu$h on his way to prison.
As you put it - the end of the nightmare.

3. Amateur dream analyzer, at your service.

This person in your dream was related to BushCo, but was sort of faceless. That might mean that figure represented the BFEE and their cohorts in general, instead of a specific Bushie. So, this whole organization is killing people, doing these evil things, but people aren't really reacting. They're just getting shot and not trying to stop him. I think this might indicate some feelings of helplessness, like we're all having, against the BFEE. There are all these people that are being hurt by them who are either voting for them, ignoring the truth, getting sucked it with 'there's nothing I can do', and all that. I think this dream speaks to your frustration at that situation -- your sense of helplessness and your frustration with others who refuse to do something about it.
Also, the vicodin probably didn't help. :)

8. This seems straightforward

You believe that Bush, family, and associates are destroying everyone but no one is willing to do anything. You can't seem to do anything so you just hide. Someone will finally do something and it will be a relief to everyone. You somehow feel that this end will personally effect you. For some reason this reminds me about my dream/nightmares involving something more personal. In one, my best friend kills the owners of my company like the killing in the beginning of the last Star Trek the Next Generation movie Inserection (they are turned to stone and shatter). Then he is arrested and I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. In the other dream, someone who I suspect is the same friend blows up our plant with some really heavy bomb. It happens shortly after work and we watch it from my house. It is such a heavy bomb that it lifts the cars off the highway about a quarter mile away. I don't know what to make of that either. I don't consider myself a violent person. My friend had a couple of violent incidences growing up in a bad neighborhood, but only non fatal self defense, and I don't really consider him a dangerous person.

There are a number of reasons that I really need a different job but my husband does not have a job at the moment so we cannot really afford for me to take a lower paying or non permanent job. There is also the health insurance issue too. I suppose that it is my secret hope that I would get layed offf for reasons completely beyond my control. I really don't really hope that the owners are killed or that the plant is blown up though (well, I hope not).
