...has to go along with that moronic DH rule, which the AL had to invent to attract interest to its' inferior level of play ( well, the Yankees and Red Sox are good; maybe they could jump to the NL.)

It was always nice to have a contrast in the two leagues. Generally speaking, the National was a pitching and baserunning league, and the American was a power league. (Again, I'm takling in broad generalities here. -- gotta be careful, baseball fans are sensitive critters.)
But the more that the two leagues have interleague play, those different flavors are lost, and turn into one big bland soup.
