Cub pulled out, and Mall Wart and Target both have Super centers. There are no locally owned and operated full grocers, so I'm doing this hodge podge of Wholefoods, Alfalfa's, Pan Pacific (the Asian grocery that IS locally owned), a local butcher and a local dairy.

Grr... Albertsons and Kroger are both big R contributors, and Safeway has been anti-union for a significant period of time, as well as the fact that the local one is just scary and smells bad so I won't shop there anyway.

I've also been in places where the only option was the corner shop for dry goods and cans, the egg store for eggs, the meat store for meats, and the farmer's market for fresh stuff. The latter option makes the shopping experience very lengthy, though you do get to know the local businesses.
