I'm one of the newbies here and probably would have joined a whole lot sooner if I'd have known about DU. I got active in campaigning for Kerry and was at the Kerry/Edwards forum where I learned about DU so came over to take a look, then joined.

As a member of Military Families Speak Out (MFSO http://www.mfso.org/ ), we were invited to meet with Wade Sanders (non-media meeting) when he was in our area, and again invited to meet with Moms (military families) on Tour for Kerry (media-covered meeting) when some of them were in our area.

After meeting with Wade Sanders, I was so impressed with the message he was delivering on behalf of Kerry as well as impressed with Wade's authentic caring about the troops based on behavior I witnessed at the meeting with us, that I decided to step outside a bit of the MFSO non-partisan, non-political guidelines to actively campaign for Kerry.

I'm far beyond disappointed with the outcome of the election, I'm stunned, shocked, crushed and determined to work with this window of time regarding vote irregularities/anomalies because I just don't see it that 59 million would have voted the other way...it's not realistic to the "ground truth" that I know.
