| Anyone else loving "America (The Book)"? |

I can't get enough of this thing. I'm only on Chapter 3, and I can't believe that they'll be able to keep up the hilarity through the whole book.
Post your favorite parts!
My favorite so far is the "Ages of Democracy" guide on page 12. And the Discussion Questions are always hilarious. "If you lived in monarchy, would you rather by the king or a slave? Why or why not?" OH man...

It's like one extra-long episode of the Daily Show. I've listened to it several times now.

I guess my favorite part of it isn't an actual section, but the setup. The fact that it is set up exactly like a real textbook cracks me up.
I got two copies from the people I ordered it from. I only paid for one!
And that's a true story!

if you're buying at all.
Jon Stewart and staff do not get the salary they deserve.
And he now has a new mouth to feed.
Won't you please open your heart to our underpaid fake newscasters during this season of giving?

They get paid pretty damn well. I don't mind making them richer, now - but they're doing okay.

My point is that their talents are network worthy, but no network would take that show in its current form.
Didn't the "friends" make a mil or two per episode?

...from Thomas Jefferson's forword to the nekkid Supreme Court Justices, it is a Daily Show greatest hits writ large. I've already given one as a gift.
