Generic blank DVD-R (or +R) media...

Does anybody know who makes what brand?

I know that Verbatim makes and sells their own and have a good record.

I know Memorex gets theirs from somebody. Somebody who doesn't care because too many people have complained of burn or longevity problems.

Sony and TDK are also high quality, but I was unable to find any information as to whether or not they make their own or go to an outside source to have their name stamped on them...

In-store brands would be nice, but if they came from the place that makes Memorex disks, noooo thanks.
