The Meriam-Webster Dictionary, in order to make room in its next edition for trendy new words and terms, has chosen to drop a number of under-used words, includiing snollygoster (a shrewd, unprincipled person; for example, George W. Bush is a snollygoster of epic proportions).
Please do your part to keep this word alive by using it in print at every opportunity (when writing about the president, for example, or Bill Gates). The more it is used, the better are its chances of being reinstated.
Thank you.

He may be unprincipled, but I'm not so sure Bush* exactly qualifies as shrewd, so I'm gonna call Rove a big fat snollygoster. :)

With all the snollygosters that have invaded Washington DC, we certainly can't afford to lose that word!
