A domain name I want is taken but a "who is" says it expired two wks ago?

1. I think the owner has first right to renew it for awhile....

I think 30 days, but I'm not sure.

2. yeah, there's a grace period

Or "redemption period," as my registrar of choice (Dotster) calls it.

During that time, the owner can renew, but has to pay a hefty additional fee.
