| How to drive your kid crazy: |

Attempt to speak like Snoop Dogg. I know three words: shizzle, nizzle, and hizzou. I've been using them in various permutations for a couple of days now. My 13 yr. old is begging me to quit trying! It's a potent threat for getting her to do things, though, e.g., "If you don't do the dishes, I'll be the shizzle with my nizzle in the hizzou!" :silly:
Are there any more good words in the Snoop lexicon? I'd like to improve my vocabulary.

| 1. What's funny is that Snoop's probably your age. |
|
That cracks me up...he's not a young man anymore (I don't think!), yet the young folks think he's the shizzle in the hizzou.
:)

But there are few things more ludicrous than a 46 yr. old white woman trying to talk like Snoop! :D

Try singing "This Land is Your Land" at the top of your lungs. They will hide under the bed to get away from it!

| 6. buy some costume jewelry and show off your "bling bling" |
|
and when you tell them something they don't want to hear, just remind them that you're just "keepin' it real" or something.
Normally I fear the thought of my daughter becoming a teenager, but this could actually be fun.

I can't tell you how amused I am right now picturing this. You go for it! My boys are a little older and gone now and I love this story. I wish I had thought of that. Wish I could add some more but Snoop's vocab is way out of my area of expertise. I love this story.
Edit to add Learn some of the hand and arm motions and add that to your new vocab. If that doesn't scare them into complying nothing will.

|
http://www.urbandictionary.com/Shizzle is in there too. Word of the day today is Election - A lying contest between two or more very rich and powerful people "Turn on C-Span to watch the election results."
