1. I went to an elementary school that was

a few miles from a GM assembly plant in the 50's. When a load of new cars went by class stopped as we raced for the windows. The plant built Buicks, Old's, and Chevy's. The plant would have an open house and tour each year to introduce the new models. By the end of the first week of production we had all the models, available colors, and options down pat.

2. BIG, BIG, BIG, BIG Fan!

The first two albums were among the best albums i'd ever heard up to that point. Completely original, totally structured and arranged, and immacuately performed.

3. Ben Orr-Rest in Peace

I was in Atlanta when I recieved news that Benjamin Orr died. Their early stuff was great. One of the Boston bands that made it big. I actually new some guy who used to work the Boston music scene. He said Rik Ocasek was the real talent, not to take away anything from anyone else.
Sigh! Those were the days.

Cars had finished their set and Martha was high so Ben was patiently anwering questions whilst wearing his yellow aviators but with a distinct :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: look on his face!
