| A question about the movie "Sideways" (spoiler). |
|
What is the purpose of the scene where Miles steals the money from his mom? He seems like such a nice guy. Are we supposed to think he's not really as nice as he seems?

I can only assume that it is because we are supposed to know that he is not a "nice guy". That was a terrible thing to do, and his mother offered him money.

| 5. Its an old saying but I've seen it proved true more than once, "the way a |

man treats his mother is the way he will treat his wife" so maybe Maya isn't so lucky with this man in her life, either.
