12. Its part of the state university system. all the schools are UW-XXX

It's paralleled in the junior college system in which every school is part of the UW-College.

Marquette University is also in Milwaukee, as well as Milwaukee School of Engineering. I believe that there is also a Milwaukee School of Design (or Art & Design).

There are a handful of 4 year colleges in Milwaukee as well.
