two of the best cartoons ever. I just hope they make a Daria DVD set soon.

For the same reason that Laverne & Shirley could never be a better show than Happy Days, and Crapper John MD didn't last anyway nearly as long as MASH.

The spin-off ain't gonna outdo the original.

That is truly remarkable when you stop and think about it.

I voted for Daria. That show can be drop dead funny. I have one friend who reminds me exactly of Daria, and another who's voice sound just like Quinn's!

hank hill was a caricature based on the old man/neighbor beavis and butthead used to terrorize...his name escapes me...but the voice, look, even the need for a perfect yard, are all there....IE-see the washing the dog and the drive thru episodes where he ordered a coffee, french fries and an apple pie to go.....

They were hilarious! I never liked Daria because even though her and her friends were the butt of the popular kids' jokes, they always wound up helping them out. To me, Daria was just annoyingly precocious and fashionably cynical. B & B was simply mindless fun.

7. I knew a girl named Daria (pronounced DARE-e-uh) who...

... looked like the MTV character and had the same disposition. We didn't get along but I sure had some fun pointing out the similarities to her!

I never cared for Daria at all.
