7. I am not religious at all

I met his mom before I met him. And she is a very nice lady and I got along with her just great. She wasn't near as religious as he was. The "relationship" wasn't that long. Actually I met him when I was in the States visiting his mom and then he visited me in Germany two months later for a week. He even brought his bible with him :wtf: Longest week ever.
We talked about religion on the phone. His view of life: if something good happens to you - thank God. If something bad happens to you - blame God. :wtf: Nothing I couldn't agree with. After I broke up he sent me an very strange email. Partly insulting on my way of life. When I think about it now he really sounds like a evangelist.

I think most of the wackiness comes from his poor stylistic command of English. For instance, his disdain of people who blink could be a calque (tortured translation) for what we'd call "having shifty eyes".
