Just ask. What's the worst that could happen? If their not giving out samples push them down and take it from them. That will show them who's boss.

... Unbeknownst to me it was a concentrate that the lady forgot to mix with the proper amount of water. What followed was a taste bud destroying jolt to my tongue that made my eyes water. After straining myself to swallow the swill I said "Ugh, this tastes like shit!", to which the sample lady replied "Hmph, Well no one made you drink it!" and turned her back.
