| Anybody have a cordless keyboard? Like it? |
|
I've already killed one keyboard due to my unmatched ability to wind the cord around and around and around and my boundless laziness as regards unwinding it. I imagine I'd have to change the computer setup markedly to get a cordless so that the doohickey would be pointed at the other doohickey, but I don't know much about them; maybe they're doohickey-free. Anyone like to share their experiences?

She had the Microsoft cordless keyboard and mouse; it conked out on her about a year after she bought it. It was ok, but I never really liked using it much..

Our cordless keyboard and mouse are the best thing that's happened to my work experience since the cable modem.

I like my cordless mouse better, but I like the freedom and the tidiness.

At least mine, a fairly cheap logitech, requires new batteries every few weeks, and as far as cordless goes there is a cord to the device that sends and receives signals from the cordless keyboard and mouse. The other thing I find is that the keyboard is always sliding further and further toward my monitor. If you buy one, buy a good one. Mine cost $35. If I buy another, I'll do some market research and probably spend more money.

I assume they all come with the wireless mouses (mice?) too (shows how much I know) but I love my wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. They just have a little mouse-like thing that I think plugs into your USB and you sit that back by your monitor, and that's the doohickey that lets the keyboard and mouse work. ;)
