| Eight days of media-blackout. No TV, internet....What did I miss? |

My Son, brother and I had to clean out Ma's house for the sale. Which, I might add, was a laborious and dirty affair. Forty Two years of accumulation and mementos had to be removed, sold, given away, trashed, and shipped. We went non-stop without cable or internet.
We watched the Sox and NBA Finals in bars and restaurants. Thats it!
What did I miss in the news or here on DU?
Something looks different here??

Also, Bush was impeached, Cheney died of a heart attack, and the Republican Senate majority were all lost in a freak tornado.
