Anyone been to/going to Falcon Ridge Folk Festival?

I was just invited to go and am wondering if it's worth the money. Looks like a nice place and isn't too far away from me. I'd appreciate anyone who's been there before letting me know how it was.

1. I went there a few years ago -- it's a good time.

If you're looking for big-name acts, then it's not the place for you. But if you're looking for somewhere that you can just chill out for a weekend and listen to some good folk music, then I'd definitely recommend it.

However, you might want to check out the Gathering of the Vibes as an alternative -- between the two, I'd say that the Vibes was a bit more fun.

I was at Gathering of the Vibes a couple years ago, it was a good time. edit. neverming I found the Gathering of the Vibes website. I didn't know Deep Banana Blackout was back together.
