Wow...my Dad went to his first peace rally this morning!

In the Chicago area; he saw Cindy Sheehan and others speak.

I'm proud of him! Since 2000, he's really gotten active in politics. I think he's secretly harboring a desire to run for office (my mom doesn't want the scrutiny, even though I can't imagine they'd have anything interesting to hide).

He said it was something he should have done during the Vietnam era, but didn't. I'm glad he's doing it now.
