Listening to the live Dark Sideof the Moon -

does it get any better than Pink Floyd?

I think even if one does not like Floyd, one has to admit that they are the gods of rock, the guys who sit at the top of the mountain, with A Bigness, A Vastness, An Over-The-Topness, An Authority, that no other band even comes close to touching.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if rock bands were comic book characters, Pink Floyd would be Galactus.

Floyd is one of those bands I can never get sick of - I hear new things in the music every time. It's Perfection.

I can listen to them over and over and over. And do! I especially love the bootleg recordings of the songs off Animals I have, including a number of early versions of the songs before they did the album.

I am with you - that's my favorite album. But even better than the album are all the fucking INCREDIBLE concert versions of the songs from that album. I have some bootlegs of "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" that are fucking unbelievable, filled with WALLS of distorted Gilmour kicking everyone's ass with solos of noise, way longer than the album.

But I think that everything that I've gotten from kazaa is available as a bought bootleg.
