Ugh. A friend from out of town is visiting and last night someone thought it would be a good idea to have a welcome home party until 2am.
There was wine, which by now I should know is my nemesis.
And yet, no, I do not know that because today my head feels like a giant sponge expanding in a glass bowl as it does every time I drink wine.

And I have to go out again tonight to two shows, but before that I have a class at the gym I can't miss.

Today should be a treat.

7. Last night I sat in my rocking chair, eating cookies.....

...and washing them down with warm milk. I read from a good book and stroked my cat's head as he laid in my lap. My feet resting on the leather ottoman.

Then around 10, I did an 8-ball and headed down to the bar where I did a few shots and smoked about a half a pack of Camels.

I feel great.

It's all about moderation.
