He's a Virginian and so he's bound to have better manners than I - the whole state was populated with lesser sons of the aristocracy. To be called 'sir' by a Brit these days one has to be a teacher or speaking with a shop-assistant.

And I never made fun of where you live - I merely referred to you as an Houstonian. I have nothing against the place, nor even the whole of Texas - though they are both made infinitely better for your presence.

As for playing nice(ly) - you know that's not the T.J. way; but I dare you to be horrid about me, 'cause you can't :P

7. My Grandfathers name was T.J.

he was in the Navy during WWII. His name really was just initials. People were always asking him what it stood for, and it didn't stand for anything. When he filled out his sign up papers for the Navy, he wrote T only J only Evans. All his navy mail came address to Tonly Jonly Evans.
