Does the fact that I am now buried with tons of unsolicited

e-mail have anything to do with yesterdays FBI and CIA e-mails? Got tons of them yesterday and today but when I checked e-mail this morning, I was buried in junk. I have 2 accounts and each one had a huge amount of garbage. Do I understand correctly that this virus has accessed other peoples computers and stolen addresses from them? I did a scan and I do not have the virus. Do you suppose lots of us will have to close current accounts just to get rid of this junk? I can block sender in OE but Hotmail has a very bothersome procedure...plus there are just too many. Suggestions?
