I was watching some dumb Matthew Perry / Salma Hayak movie and at the beginning they showed the Columbia River Gorge which is right outside of Portland, Oregon.
Right after I told my friend where it was, the words appeared on the screen "Deep in Central America..."
I laughed till I almost wet myself, and everyone else probably thought I was a mental patient.

Part of it took place in the next town over from mine. The character lived on the third floor of a hotel. There were very few two story homes there! ;-)
