| My wife left our bed last Friday. |

OK, it's a "gotcha" post. ;-) So sue me.
She came down with some kind of rotten upper respiratory virus. "I don't want you to get this. I'm moving to the guest room."
Occupying a bedroom solo does have its good points. Now I can watch the bloody, body-parts flying war flicks with no complaints. ;-)

| 2. I remember when my mother left my father's bed..... |
|
because he was such an active (and LOUD) sleeper that his snoring kept her awake. The final straw was when he turned over violently and literally kicked her out of bed. She gave up and slept in a separate room until my father died.
Be happy that Miz. T decamped. Probably saved you from being sicker than a dog...so you could take care of her. :D

| 6. I usually sleep on the couch.. |
|
I have insomnia and usually sleep for 30-45 minutes at a stretch..My husband's a light sleeper, and gets up early, so I sleep on the couch and have the tv on..I can fall asleep with the tv on, but if it's turned off, i cannot fall asleep...

| 7. I gotta have "white noise" too |
|
I have to sleep with either the radio or the tv on to keep my mind from racing and to drown out my SO's snoring. She can't stand having the radio/tv on so that means we usually sleep apart. I have a little cozy futon in my office where it's dark, cool and quiet.
