I just labeled 1000 songs with the Artist Milli Vanilli

I'm so not kidding.

I have over 2000 songs uploaded on my Sonic Stage like a jukebox. Got a nice pair of speakers and I can enjoy the music.

But I'm kinda anal retentive with labeling and if I don't have the right name or album listed I look it up and put it in myself.

So yes, I do happen to have 2 Milli Vanilli songs in the collection and the name was mispelled and I wanted to update the album.

Somehow all of my songs were highlighted and when I couldn't figure out what was taking so long I did a CTRL-ALT-DEL on the Sonic Stage. Here I must have had all my songs highlighted and the changes were being made for EVERYTHING (well now 1000 songs).

So you name it - in my music collection Milli Vanilli sings it

I've got a fricking nightmare on my hands trying to undo all of this

Right now I'm removing everything but the name of the song. With all the Lyric sites it's easy to figure out what group it is with a google search of the song name

I'm sorry ... Milli Vanilli/Frank Farian, that's just such a joke here. Frank Farian produced them, then it came out all was dubbed, and it was quite a scandal. Frank Farian still tries to get a hit on every European Song Contest. He's merely a joke now.

I really hope you can free all your songs from being labeled as Milli Vanilli. :hug:

I'd rather see it blank than to see every single song come up as "Don't Fear the Reaper"/Milli Vanilli

6. Sure, laugh it up

I spent 2 months uploading all of my songs, sorting them, classifying them and converting them to Altrac3 (saves space) and now I fricking do this. It'll take another 3 months to figure out all the songs on there and what I did wrong.

Right now I'm zapping out the artist/genre/album for all of the songs. I really don't want to see that much fricking Milli Vanilli on my song list. I usually have my SonicStage on Shuffle and up pops "Jesus of Suburbia" by Milli Vanilli. I about puked seeing that!

11. Update about the Milli Vanilli Crisis

It was about 400 songs actually affected and from what it seems it only affected all groups starting with the letters A-E. I was about to wipe out a bunch of stuff figuring it would be easier to uploaded all the LZ/Queen/Green Day(The only groups I have all songs uploaded) but it seems none of them were affected. But all my Audioslave was :cry:

Right now I'm listening to "My Sacrifice" by Milli Vanilli. Kind of an irony that the biggest asshole band is labeled after the biggest scam artist band (but hey, I actually do like a few Creed songs - so sue me!)

I have a ton of Beatles & Clash in my collection but fortunately they both are in the "T" section because I have fixed the order so it doesn't sort by the word "THE" or we could have had "The Day in the Life" by Milli Vanilli or "London Calling" by Milli Vanilli
