1. Not a term I ever use . . . or even think of really unless it's in the |
|
context of an old song or movie, etc.
Just never really thought about it to be honest.

3. There may be a healthily high amount of horniness in their relationship |
|
Also, the special one in question may be young. Perhaps in her early 20s.
Or, it may be an old couple and they call themselves "gal" and "kid" just for kicks.
Bottom line: it doesn't say much -- too many possibilities.

on the context, I guess. I think of "gal" as being equivalent to "guy." I don't think it is necessarily derogatory, if that's what you mean.

7. in the context of his special one.... |
|
as in: "a gal I spent the summer with, contacted me. She has reconsidered her previous thinking and offered to pick up where we left off."

5. It means he's really old. |
|
Isn't that an expression from the 1940s?

6. GAL = Get a Life or Global Address List or Generic Array Logic |
|
Not sure what message that conveys. :)

17. I for one have always hated that word, because to me it sounds like |
|
something certain men say when they are belittling a woman. There are cases where that is not true, per se, but still. It's all context.
