I use Cool Edit Pro (now Adobe Audition), and it's better than any 8 track recorder/mixer I've ever had, bar none..

All I need to know with the location and frequency of scheduled breaks

9. If you keep them around 10 minutes

you'll be ok; the Live365 breaks come about every 12 minutes..
