...ball while the rest of us were at Best-Buy, CompUSA, or Fry's getting an optical mouse. Yes, I agree, they're the cats meow. Unfortunately, being the "early adopter" that I am, I paid about 4 times as much for mine as you did yours.

and always keep batteries on hand. The only trouble I have with mine is I lose the cursor every now and then.

One warning.. have batteries at the ready..when mine went, I got no warfning..just no workee, and I was scrambling all over to remember where we kept the new batteries :)

It draws power from the PC. Wireless mice require a battery.
