would you in turn play games that required a lot of management and maintenance? (e.g. "SimCity 4", "Civilization III", "Masters of Orion 3"

3. Well, one out of three...
I play CivIII...or did until my 4 year old broke my disk.
I also play Master of Orion 2 and SimCity3000.
