My mother-in-law is arriving tomorrow.

I should be turning the playroom into a guest room and tackling the cesspool known as my teenager's bathroom (making it fit for human use out of respect for my MIL).

But here I sit, sipping coffee and perusing DU as if I hadn't a care in the world.

11. Fortunately...

the bathroom is now sparkling clean, the playroom has been transformed into a warm, comfortable guest room, and "my" room (the front room office) has been completely overhauled and reorganized.

The office reorganization was just an offshoot of everything else I wanted to do, but it turned out nicely.

It's 8:30, the kids are in bed (though not asleep yet), and I'm having a nice bowl of soup and a glass of wine.

6. Do you get along with your MIL?

Mine I wouldnt do half of that :) Lots of issues between me and her. Have fun cleaning the cesspool :rofl:
