Just saw a preview of Battlestar Gallactica.. I liked it....very ambitous.

It was real departure from the old show.... The girls were sexy. The sets were elaborate..... The action took a little while to unfold as they set things up but I think if it sticks around, it can morph into something special... Eddie Olmos as Captian Adama.... I am rooting for it.

I think it officiall airs next w eek.

I never could get past Lorne Greene in a sci-fi environment.
I expected him at any minute to start shouting, "Hoss! Little Joe! Get the horses! Adam fell down a mine shaft!"

2. I miss the old show...

I always was fascinated by Baltar sitting up there on his throne giving commands to lucifer and the other Cylons, a human who could enjoy the company of robots. Lucifer always spooked me a little! To bad they can't bring back the old actors, old music, and combine them with the latest special effects.

But I'm looking foward to the new series also, hopefully it will live up to its name. :thumbsup:

5. Right now it is only a miniseries...

There is some rumbling about making it a series, but I wouldn't hold my breath just yet. Lets see how it does next week.

Scifi doesn't exactly know what to do with itself when it gets a good thing, ie cancelling Farscape for Tremors, oy!

He never met bad science fiction that he doesn't like. Thinks "That '70s Show" is the epitome of great comedy. God, don't let this happen. "Battlestar Gallactica" was just about the worst.
