But I was glad to hear Clooney touch on it in his acceptance speech. He said that if it weren't for Hollywood being "out of touch" they wouldn't have given Hattie McDaniel an Oscar, wouldn't have shed light on race relations in this country, wouldn't had shed light on aids, etc. He said he was proud to be among people so out of touch... and I have to agree with him.

|
"Crash" was as "liberal" as the other nominated films. It's bizarre to me that anyone who's seen the film would think otherwise, regardless of their opinion of the merits of the film itself.
