Just popping in to say DadBat's pulled through

Greetings from the San Juan Islands, off Seattle-ish. Just got Dadbat and Mombat out of the hospital (he was the only one being treated) after a fine quad-bypass and some other heart goodies. They're sleeping comfortably back in their home here, and I'm cleaning dozens of copies of random nonsense off their computer desktop.

And posting on DU. ;)

While I am exhausted, I know he and my mom are too. Remarkable recovery thus far, which I can only attribute to the good wishes, prayers, and what-not from everyone, including those here. So, thanks. :)

I'll likely be up here another week or so getting everyone settled. I just wanted to say thanks, howdy, dang but it's rainy here, and I miss my own home. Cheers all. :toast:

My dad went through similar a few years ago...do be aware there may be personality changes. I dunno why this is, but it is. :shrug:
