And I don't need that.
GO Bruins.

I'm new here...maybe I cursed them?? Or maybe it's the rain. If I recall correctly, it was rainy and nasty in the days surrounding the Rose Bowl as well. Yup, that's it...the rain has screwed with the sunny SoCal karma.

to smash the opponent before the Final.
Leads to a false sense of security. UCLA would have been better off if they had beat LSU by 1.

Congrats to all Gator fans. I know it was probably exciting for you, and I don't mean to take away from your victory at all because you deserved it, but to this fan who was more interested in the game itself than who won, I found that to be a total yawner. UCLA didn't have a chance after the first 5 minutes.

| 27. I'm impressed by Donovan as a coach. His team was very disciplined. |
|
They completely played to their strengths. I was impressed by the immediate timeout when one or two sloppy baskets got away and UCLA got to 16 down. Seems like a small thing, but a lot of coaches would let that go a little longer, a couple lucky threes and you're inside double digits, doubt creeps into the team that's up, the losing team catches fire, and you rapidly begin to lose the aura of complete control.

You could tell the Florida players were also great at communicating with one another, too, spacing the floor well and being patient. He only scored 2 points, but Green ran the point wonderfully. Noah was just fun to watch and his presence intimidated UCLA in the paint (loved the block where he basically just took the ball away). Corey Brewer was scrappy and smart.
Just a great team that gelled at the right time! Congrats, Gator fans!
Both teams are young, which makes their accomplishments all the more interesting.
