What's the last music artist you listened to?

For me: The Dixie Chicks. This album is their best yet! This time, they really went into country/pop, but the great thing is that it's a CD that only the Chicks can do! They are beating Nashville at its own game. I'm proud to be a fan and to be supporting them. I don't trash my Lee Ann Womack and Toby Keith CDs just because they came out in support of Bush. I'm glad the Dixie Chicks didn't shy away from that horrible treatment.

When I think of punk music, I think of Minor Threat, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, early Clash, Circle Jerks...to name a few.

London Calling, IMHO, is not a "punk album". To me, it is more rock n' roll...with a message,, I guess.

On a message board, I once asked Jessica Harp's friend Jessica Weiser about Harp's political affiliation - and Weiser said that Harp hadn't discussed politics with her.
