It's a happy reunion this week as Washington's favorite bald eagles - George and Martha - are back together.
The eagles have nested near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge since the late 1990s, but Martha was injured in a fight with another female last month. She was taken to a bird sanctuary in Delaware to heal, and wildlife officials released her there - 90 miles from Washington - more than two weeks ago.
This week environmental experts at the bridge site spotted Martha and George together again. Bridge construction workers had been convinced Martha would find her way home, and she came through.
