About an hour ago, he started moping around a bit. "Mom, I'm sick" he told me a few times, but he wouldn't tell me where or how he felt bad. Then he threw up just a crazy amount (most of it make it in the toilet, thank god) and now he's in bed asleep.) I'm guessing it's just a stomach virus, as he was energetic this morning and afternoon, but it stinks to see him feeling bad and not be able to fix it.

| 1. Obviously a defective unit. I'd get a replacement and pronto. |

The market for used kids is just awful, so before the warranty goes, I'd replace him with a functioning unit.
:silly:
Sorry to hear he isn't feeling well - kids are kinda funny that way, the way they just throw up every now and again. Some friends who are teachers and I were talking about this, and we realized that the random vomiting seems to stop at the end of elementary school - none of us remember seeing the kind of instant, no-warning spontaneous vomiting in junior or senior high kids - so we figure it might just be something having to do with the body slowly growing the bacteria and stuff that it needs to function better.
Our bodies are strange.
And yes, it sucks to have someone sick and not be able to do anything about it except let it ride itself out. But you can comfort him in other ways.

Poor kid has more food allergies than me even. Once his Dad and I figured out most of his allergies and sensitivities that mosty solved the problem.
He'll be okay fast though, he's just sickeningly healthy.
