Idea for Democratic hot-button issue.

Legislation that will put all TV commercials at the end of the show. The airways belong to the public after all. If the networks don't want to comply with that restriction, I'm sure someone else will be happy to have the opportunity.

People would vote for that.

1. With the advent of DVR, however,

more networks are putting product placements in the shows themselves. Cripes, even CNN did one for Best Western or something last summer during a hurricane broadcast.

2. Yes, that's annoying.

I would count that as advertisement that has to go at the end of the show.
