Hey the Home Town thread down there, I forgot my favorite place in my home town, Kulak's Woodshed, and you can go there right now if you want to!

This amazing guy started a storefront music venue that is totally non-commercial, non-profit. The idea is that you can go in there 7 nights a week and hear somebody playing for free, no booze, no selling anything. They webcast for free also every night. You can make a donation if you want (they have a bucket there, and paypal on the site) but they don't bug you at all...you can just meander on in.

You can even bring your kids, bring your dogs or whatever! It's a very funky and cool hang-out. Come on by, and check out the calendar while you're there, lots of pretty well known studio musicians drop in.
