I kinda got the primary blues again :(. I am worried about school and all after an incident today in the library where I ran in to a teacher that I had to stay after to take a quiz, I had gone to the room but I didn't see the teacher, and I got nervous, and left, I admit I showed really bad judgement and shit, and that I could have done something different but the teacher basically called me a liar. Sigh guys. Whats wrong with me? Sigh I haven't felt more sad in a while. I'll be ok. Sigh though btw I will be gone from like 3:15-6:30

Just tell the truth. That's all you can do. Most teachers are wonderful , dedicated people, but, like in all fields, sometimes they have a bad day, too, or are not the greatest.
This too shall pass.

I've had problems with this teacher in the past, and I tried to be polite, and I will when I get back from winter break tell her that I take full responsiblity, that I am sorry, and that I showed the worst possible judgement, I just made a mistake, and now I cant make up those quizzes. Sigh.

He or she should know that they are dealing with young adults. If a problem persists, you may need your parents to intervene.
There can be personality conflicts between students and teachers as well as co-workers, etc.

sometimes things will bug ya more than they should, it's all a part of the 'process'...there will come a time when simply knowing that you did not lie will be enough to carry you thru a situation like this...from what i have read from you in the short amount of time i have been here, i know you are intelligent, and thoughtful and definitely on the right track as far as backing a candidate in the primary ;)
the problem lies within the teachers mistrust not you!

this teacher is a staunch republican???
being of the political mindset you are blessed enough to have, you will hear insane, undeserved rants coming from all directions if you are brave enough to remain outspoken...think of this as practice for dealing with the close minds of the gop and religious right...
the simple fact that it bothers you tells me you have a heart, and better to have a heart to be hurt than no heart and a head full'o hypocrisy...
right??

But I think you're suffering from a combination of things. None the least of which is your lack of female companionship around this holiday season.
You'll start to feel better in the New Year John. Just keep your head up and remember that you have more to offer the world than anyone in school realizes. And if they don't see it now, they'll definately see it years from now when you stroll into your 10-year high school reunion with a hot chick under each arm and your chauffeur waiting outside to take you home in your stretched limo. :)

John, I would've skated if the teacher wasn't there on time, too. Right, it might be less-than-exemplary judgement and you probably should own up to it but, hell, it's not unheard-of behavior from a high school kid. Don't beat yourself up over it. It's the Christmas season, and there's no sense in you getting all morose over something that's already done and isn't a capital offense, anyhow. I guarantee you the teacher will have forgotten about by next Thursday, latest. Of course, I compiled a 0.00 grade point average at Arthur Hill before taking my GED and enlisting in the Army, so you may not want to listen to me. But, in this case, I wish you would. John Now we gotta do something about getting you laid.

Why don't you find a smart girl who can help you with your homework? John I've seen your picture. I've read your stuff here. You're smart and handsome and seem to me to be a real swell guy (really). You're also about as much of a screwup as I'd expect from some male your age (a good thing, BTW) and I'm sure there's at least one and. possibly, several girls at (Insert Name of Your) High School who hold the same generally positive thoughts about you. Some gal's sending you the message, you're just not receiving it.

It was different for me because I'm about as shy as a brass band. I'm not asking you to go hunting, I'm suggesting you open your eyes and your mind and your feelings and tune in a message that's out there. Anyhow, this was about you getting your sack in a wringer because you skipped out. Own up to it and apologize profusely and go from there. John We're all pulling for you, but you're going to be fine. Find someone nice to help you with your homework (you should have no shortage of volunteers).

admit your fault as you have spoken of and ask if you could do some extra creddit work to make up fot the missed quizes. This shows responsibnility and a concern for your academics. It would be wise to have a couple of suggestions on what you could do for extra credit.

The next time you see him/her, apologize: "Mr(s). ___, I'm so sorry I couldn't make it," etc.
The next time this happens (if it does happen again), go to the school's main office, tell them about your situation, and ask them if they know where your teacher could be. If they don't know, they could make an announcement over the public address. system or something.
Just a suggestion.

And be careful with girlfriends and high explosives.
I didn't follow any of those rules in high school or college, and it resulted in a lot of misery all around.
I had to complete my college senior thesis during summer school following my expected graduation date, because I'd pissed off my advisors, and they gave me a "no-pass." Summer school was purgatory for me, although I probably deserved much worse than the *(August) after my name on the graduation program.
If I was doing it again I'd be extremely polite to all my teachers and professors, even the ones I thought were jerks.

|
stop by the principal's office (yes, really!), leave a note for the teacher, explaining that you did remember and stopped by the room. Be nice. Then write the time on the note, and ask the secretary to put it in the teacher's mailbox. Bingo. You did the right thing, and you have a witness.

You kind of remind me of myself, when I was your age and in high school.
Except I did not have that much shyness.
Instead I had to put up with being a non-native among the natives and that wasn't easy for me to deal with.

If that was you who said that then they need to allow you flubs like that.
Do you have an IEP?
I know a lot of AS people and when they were in school they had IEPs which gave them greater lee way in testing and stuff. Some of my friends have AS kids and one of them has it in her son's IEP that she is allowed to do his writing.
If it wasn't you who said you were had aspergers then I apologize for thinking it was....all these posts get mixed up in my head.

|
have gotten IEPs for their kids and the kids are not LD. They may be socially awkward but they are not LD. As a matter of fact they tend to be rather bright but in an Aspie kind of way. Aspies learn and react differently than other people which is why and IEP is often required. Sometimes extra time is needed on a test or assignment. Perhaps handwriting skills are not what is expected (one of my friends bought her son a laptop and he can submit all of his written work on his laptop or his mom can do the writing for him.)
Your parents will need to inquire about an IEP. The people I know w/Aspie kids had the IEP even before their kid entered the public school system. It's something they each hold onto with tenacity because it helps get their kid through the school system.
An IEP is not an excuse it is a tool, like school supplies.
