Game's on. Christmas Over. Thank Gawd.
The holidays are basically over once the first game comes on Christmas Day. After that, one can ignore the occasional "Happy Holidays" reference.

2. The first game!
Works for me. The sooner the better.
I drove over to the post office this morning and drew incredulous looks from couples/families passing by in their SUVs. OMG, how can anyone be out ALONE on Christmas morning?! Good riddance, indeed.
