Where I live, it's between 4"-6" right now. Vegas is definitely NOT snow country!

The reality of global warming is that weather and climate are destabilized, with hotter and colder weather, worse storms, droughts in formerly drought-free places, torrential rains in dry places, and so on. Weather gets more extreme.
Here in Kansas where winters traditionally had been fairly cold with snowfall on a regular basis, plus several episodes of freezing rain each winter, for the last five or six years has had mild, warm winters with little snow and almost no freezing rain. In other words, a long-standing pattern has changed.

last year we had a no snow emergency in the north. nebraska gets a blizzard and we have nothing in Milwaukee right now. have had plenty of rain. so far the weather channels snow hasn't showed up.
