People are evidently rather sensitive today. Rather than get any more nasty comments about my opinion on what constitutes beauty or what makes a person important I'm nuking my post.

I watched her reality show...couldn\'t turn away from it. She was surrounded by people who all seemed to want something from her. All except her son. I can\'t imagine her sorrow after he died. And all that yoyo dieting, and the diet pills...I guess it\'s not too surprising that we lost her, but it\'s still quite tragic. She had the American dream for awhile, but it never was able to make her happy.

I remember thinking how breathtakingly hot she was. She totally reminded me of the 40's-50's bombshell/cheesecake pinup type- totally unlike the heroin-chic waifs of the day. It was sad to see her trainwreck life unfold. Yeah, I couldn't stand her druggy, slurring, airhead persona near the end, but I am sorry she had to die so young.

The thing that struck me was that the woman was HUGE. Probably six feet tall.
Was wearing spike heels and was as tall as her male attorneys, who were probably six foot three or four.
She wore a lot of makeup, but had the bone structure to be beautiful without it.
But then I'm only five foot three, so lots of people look tall from where I am.

This is a perfect example of the general assholishness I've seen around here the past few days. Some people feel it necessary to barge into threads and post asinine comments. You can't use the hide thread feature? That's a shame. You might want to contact the admins about that. The rest of us does have that feature.

First off, I commented on her looks. In a thread regarding her looks, the title of which sort of implies her rotten character is a given.
Personally, I think somebody's appearance is a rather shallow thing to harp on. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Just disputed your theory that we don't know anything about her. Her life was an open book.

"do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I wonder if she'd like sneering assholes to come mock her when a death saddens her.

| 85. I'm pretty realistic about death. |
|
And don't find it all that tragic when a person accomplishes all she wanted before the age of 40. Many never do. When someone does, it isn't something to mourn.

just to show a modicum of class and sensitivity by not shitting on a tribute thread to a recently-deceased woman. Don't they teach that in divinity school?

She desperately wanted to be loved and needed. I dont think she was a saint. I cannot even claim to know that she was a good person. I guess I am reacting mainly to what I perceive as glee over her death. What I see is someone who lived a sad life, trying to find happiness...and I feel sorry for her. No more or less sorry for her than I do for soldiers who are dying tragically in Iraq. Why do you have to be so cruel about her? Why do you have to be so nasty to other DUers who dont agree with you?

Does your congregation get to see this side of you, or do you save it for DU? You're arguably the most bitter minister I have ever encountered.
I thought your "I hate housewives" screed was bad, but this, well, this is just unreal.

At an age when a baby should be nursing? That baby?

|
SHe's certainly not the only mom who didn't nurse, but in your extremely, narrow, critical view, she is obviously worthy of your scorn.
I can't believe you proclaim yourself to be a preacher. Shame on you. You are a disgrace to Christianity.

| 91. Huh. The "elderly dying man" made a great fortune. |
|
And his spoiled kids annoyed him no end. In fact, he disinherited his oldest son before he died.
Ana Nicole was his way of leaving a big giant "fuck you" to the middle aged twits. They already had enough money to never work in their lives, but they wanted to keep Ana Nicole from getting anything. So they had to spend money on lawyers & appear in court! No doubt, they were quite embarrassed--"their sort" try to avoid publicity.
Meanwhile, the old man was looking down (or up) with a cigar in one hand & a glass of whiskey in the other. No doubt, next to his last mistress--who died during cosmetic surgery.

And I would imagine that Mariska Hargitay is identifying big time with what her baby is going to go thru. Hopefuly one of the dads in question will be as good a father as Mickey Hargitay seems to have been.

weight at the Hard Rock in LV. I was surprised at how skinny and guant she looked, it was not becoming of her. I like her, she was just like all of us, had her quirks and she wore her heart on her sleeve. She is also anti-fur which gets a big thumbs up in my book.
RIP sister

I saw an interview where even she felt she'd lost too much weight.
She looked great with a few extra pounds on her. What a figure!
