If you could be any fictional character, what would you be?

I'd love to be a wizard, like the peeps in Harry Potter. They can do many kick-ass spells and they don't die. How sweet is that?

3. I think I'd be

Richard Rahl from Goodkind's world. This despite what the character goes through in the plot (eek! In book 1 he gets tortured to the brink of death over and over, only to be forced to kill his captor by seeing her in a compassionate light- she was made this way by others, she wanted to die because of what they made her, etc).

Heheh... Richard gets to cast spells repeatedly that he knows nothing about, but he has more power than any wizard born in three thousand years. He doesn't know anything about using it, though, which tends to get the character into some interesting spots.

I'd prefer to be the Bond in Ian Fleming's novels -- he was a little darker, a bit more divided, far more introspective.
