| A fun Central VA DU meetup on Saturday |

It was me, Haruka, The Ex, Midlo, Swimboy, and Mr. Swimboy. We had a rocking good time at Maggiano's, even though Midlo only had three glasses of Chardonnay and Haruka and The Ex a mojito apiece. Hilarity reigned as we talked about wedding plans, Midlo's expensive hair care regime, the benefits of bottled vs. boxed wine, and whether or not Swimboy was regimental under his kilt. Fortunately for him, The Ex was seated between him and Midlo, or there may have been an incident between Mr. Swimboy and Midlo. For the record, we found out later that Swimboy was indeed wearing nothing under his kilt but his sandals.
After a huge meal and the ritual sharing of desserts, we all went to the nearby Build-A-Bear and had fun with teddy bears.
We had two cameras but forgot to take any photos. I blame it on the sight of Swimboy in his Utilikilt.
On edit: there is a photo of our Build-A-Bears, but Midlo has to figure out how to upload it.
:eyes:
See what happens when you drink box wine, boys and girls?

| 2. I know -- it sucked that the wait at the Olive Garden was so long |
|
I may need to get the caterer to have a tank of oxygen at the ready at the reception. The sight of Sniffa in full kilt kit might drive you over the edge.

| 13. It was a Utilikilt, which are made out of thick cotton, like duck |
|
However, friends of mine wear "real" kilts year-round, often regimental, and they find them very comfortable.
